For a long time, I thought design was what I wanted to do. Looking back, I realise it was only the beginning.

 

Long before studying design, I was already sketching the logos of my favourite skate and surf brands, painting boards, collecting magazines and stickers, and wondering how a record sleeve could say so much before the music even started. That's where the curiosity that still guides my work today first began.

 

I've been working in visual communication for over a decade. Design came first. Photography followed later, almost without knocking, and completely changed the way I think about both. Today, I can't separate one from the other. Most of the inspiration behind my work still comes from the same places it always has: skateboarding, surfing, music, books, travel and the people I meet along the way. Those experiences continue to shape every project I take on.

 

Over the years, I've collaborated with agencies, hotels, restaurants, brands and independent businesses. Every project has brought a different visual language, and that's exactly what keeps this work exciting. I still don't believe in formulas. I believe in people, places and stories waiting for the right way to be told.

 

In the end, I'm still looking for projects that make me pay a little more attention to the world around me.
